Caron Wheeler is a British song writer, singer and producer. She is known for singing in groups called Soul II Soul and Brown sugar.  She was born and raised in London.  Caron Wheeler who with Soul II Soul had the 1989 UK No.1 single 'Back To Life'. Their debut album, Club Classics Vol. One (1989) earned two Grammy Awards. She was one of the founding members of the female backing vocalist group Afrodiziak. known for performing backing vocals on the Jam's final single 'Beat Surrender' in 1982. Happy Birthday to her.
